for accessing Nua Healthcare Services' (Nua) Caregiver Empowerment Programme,
Learning Management System (LMS), Course Materials, Sample Tools and
Third-Party Links. By accessing your personal LMS, you, as an individual or on
behalf of an organisation, agree that you have read, understood and accepted
these terms and conditions.
General
§ Nua reserves the
right to change course content and sample tools at any time.
§ All rights not
expressly granted are reserved.
§ These terms and
conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of
Ireland.
LMS, Course Materials, Sample Tools, Third Party Links
(Content)
§
All content
- except for links to third-party organisations - remains the property of Nua
Healthcare Services.
§
All content
- except for links to third-party organisations - has been prepared, maintained
and updated to the best of our team's ability; however, given the nature of
continuous development in each specialist area covered, Nua cannot guarantee
the complete accuracy of the content, and it is, therefore, the responsibility
of each learner or organisation accessing content to satisfy themselves as to
its accuracy at the time of use.
§
The use of
Nua's LMS and its content is restricted to the Registered User who has been
supplied with the log-in details by Nua.
§
The
Registered User understands that access to the LMS and its content is for their
individual learning only. It is not to be used for any other purpose. The
Registered User also understands they cannot copy, share, modify, transmit or
distribute content. If they wish to share with others, they should direct them
to the Caregiver Empowerment Programme registration page, where they may
sign-up for their own personal LMS, which will be conditional upon accepting
our general terms and conditions.
§
The
Registered User shall not allow anyone else to copy, use, modify, transmit,
distribute or exploit the copyrighted materials in any way.
§
Nua may make
improvements or changes to the content at any time without prior notification.
§
These terms
and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws
of Ireland.
§
If you do
not agree with these terms and conditions, you must cease to use the online
materials immediately and notify Nua so that your individual account can be
deactivated.
§
The Registered User is responsible for ensuring they
have sufficient and compatible hardware, software and internet service to use
our LMS and content.
Copyrights, Trademarks and Other Proprietary Rights
Nua shall retain all worldwide rights to its
intellectual property (LMS and its content). The Registered User should assume
that everything read or seen in the LMS and its content is copyrighted,
trademarked or otherwise protected and owned by Nua; and, in the case of
third-party links, these individual organisations.
Unless expressly stated, nothing you read and see on
the LMS and the content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed,
transmitted, republished, or displayed for use without the prior consent of
Nua. Nothing in these terms and conditions grants you an express or implied
licence to use any of Nua's intellectual property.
DATA PROTECTION - USER CONSENTS TO AND UNDERSTANDS THE FOLLOWING:
I have been informed of the purpose of the Caregiver Empowerment Programme and understand
that my Explicit Consent is required specifically for this purpose to participate
in the Caregiver Empowerment Programme.
I understand that I do not have to take part in this and that
I can opt out / withdraw my Consent at any time.
I understand that I do not have to give a reason for opting out and
I understand that opting out won’t affect my future dealings, in any way,
with Nua Healthcare Services.
